Greetings and welcome once again to your weekly dose of gaming goodness. On this week’s installment of Fragments of Silicon we shall be welcoming all the way from the other side of the globe, Brisbane, Australia. This rather new indie developer created last year by some veteran developers of the now shuttered Sega Studios Australia. We shall be having one of those said co-founders on the program, Sanatana Mishra, to talk about their first game. Assault Android Cactus is a anime-influenced twin-stick shooter starting some cute robot girls as they try to restore order to a space station gone mad. The game is also notable as this will be the first Steam Early Access title to be featured on the program and will be an interesting topic of discussion. Speaking of which, this week we are talking about another Nintendo icon, the one that started it all, indeed in celebration of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze releasing this week, we shall be reflecting on the nearly 35 year career of Donkey Kong and his several lines of games. As always be sure to tune into the program live on Talkshoe this Wednesday at 9:00 PM EST/6:00 PM PST or if you miss the show be sure to download from Talkshoe or iTunes.
